Introducing OneVpn Security service
A VPN masks your IP address, hides your virtual location, and encrypts your connection, ensuring your online activities stay private and secure.
Stay protected from dangers like man-in-the-middle attacks, packet sniffing, and unsafe public Wi-Fi networks with a reliable VPN.

With a VPN, you can avoid online censorship and restrictions and enjoy the free and open internet.
Whether at home or work, a VPN encrypts your data transfers, keeping prying eyes from snooping on sensitive information.

WHAT CAN VPN DO?
ONE VPN works by rerouting your internet traffic through a secure remote server while encrypting it for maximum protection. Normally, when you access a website, your ISP (Internet Service Provider) handles the request and directs you to the site. However, with a VPN, your traffic is first redirected through a remote server, masking your IP address and securing your connection before reaching its final destination.
A VPN primarily protects your data from prying eyes by encrypting your internet traffic. This is crucial for safeguarding your online activities and reducing your digital footprint. With a VPN, your internet service provider (ISP) won’t be able to monitor or sell your browsing history to third parties.
A VPN hides your IP address and virtual location, assigning you a new one linked to the VPN server you’re connected to. This not only boosts your online privacy but also adds an extra layer of security, ensuring no one can determine the city or country you’re browsing from.
While these are standard VPN functionalities, OneVPN goes a step further. We don’t just protect your data — we safeguard your devices too.
HOW ONEVPN Works?
A VPN creates a secure, encrypted tunnel between your device and a remote server. This ensures that your data travels privately and bypasses your internet service provider. By hiding your real IP address and encrypting your internet connection, a VPN makes your online activities safer and more private.
Understanding how a VPN works helps you unlock its full potential. Here’s what happens behind the scenes:
Authentication. When you connect to a VPN service, your device authenticates with the VPN server, establishing a secure connection.
Encryption. The VPN server applies encryption protocols to all the data you send and receive, ensuring that it’s unreadable to outsiders.

Tunneling. A secure, encrypted "tunnel" is created between your device and the VPN server, protecting your data as it travels over the internet.
Encapsulation. Each data packet is wrapped in an outer layer, or "packet," which is then encrypted. This process, called encapsulation, is a vital part of the VPN tunnel, keeping your data secure during transfer.
Decryption. Once the data reaches the VPN server, the outer packet is decrypted, making the data readable only by its intended destination.
How do VPN servers operate?

Once the VPN tunnel is established, your device transmits encrypted data, such as the website you want to access, to the VPN server. The server decrypts this information and forwards it to the target web server, masking your real IP address in the process. Instead, the web server sees the IP address of the VPN server you’re connected to.

When the web server responds, the VPN server encrypts the data and sends it back to your device via your ISP. Your VPN client then decrypts the data, allowing you to access the content securely.
What is VPN tunneling ?
Before data is transmitted over the internet, it is divided into packets. To keep these packets secure, a VPN wraps each one in an encrypted outer packet through a process known as encapsulation.
This outer packet acts as a protective layer, ensuring the data remains secure during its transfer. Once the data reaches the VPN server, the outer packet is removed through decryption, revealing the original data for its intended destination.
The VPN tunnel is established by first authenticating your device—whether it’s a computer, smartphone, or tablet—with the VPN server. The server then applies one of several encryption protocols to ensure that no one can intercept or monitor the information traveling between your device and your online destination.
VPN TYPES
There are various types of VPNs, but most of them can be grouped into three main categories
Private VPN
Most consumer-grade VPNs, including OneVPN, fall under the category of personal VPNs. These operate similarly to remote-access VPNs, but instead of connecting to a proprietary restricted network, like your workplace, they connect you to your VPN provider’s servers. This ensures protection and privacy as you browse the internet.
Site to site VPN
Site-to-site VPNs are primarily used by businesses, especially large corporations. They enable users in different locations to securely access each other’s networks. This type of VPN is an excellent solution for connecting multiple offices, allowing various branches to safely share resources and information.
Remote VPN
A remote-access VPN enables users to securely connect to a remote network using specialized software. If you've ever logged into your office network from home or another location, you’ve likely used a remote-access VPN. This type of VPN makes remote work safer and more convenient by allowing employees to access company data and resources from anywhere.
